If you live close to Queen Creek, Arizona and want to improve your trumpet playing, prepare for an upcoming audition, or learn a new instrument, I’m your woman! I have taught professionally since 2002 and have mentored beginning to advanced students ranging from ages 4-65. My goal is to foster musical skill, instill confidence, and encourage you towards the next best version of yourself!
Qualifications
Graduate of Arizona State University’s music program with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Trumpet Performance.
I began my Master’s of Arts in Trumpet Performance at Boise State University and decided not to finish so that I could be a full-time mother and raise my son at home.
Adjunct faculty at Eastern Arizona College from 2008-2010 (trumpet teacher)
Performer
I perform regularly with Millennial Choirs and Orchestras as their principal trumpet.
Most recently, I performed with MCO at Boston Symphony Hall and Palmyra, New York. Listen for the most epic trumpet entrance at 9:45!
I recorded this solo for a friend fighting cancer. Thank you Halefire Music for the opportunity!
Composer
I wrote this piece for six trumpets in 2006. It was performed at the International Trumpet Guild Conference in Canada in 2007 (?). I don’t have a recording of that performance, but I did find this video performance online and this high school group did a fantastic job!
I am also Executive Assistant to Lindsey Stirling and manager/customer service/executive transcriber of lindseystirlingsheetmusic.com. Here are some books that we created under my direction.
And here are samples of karaoke tracks for the sheet music created under my direction.
