This Root soup is the best soup for lymphatic drainage and relief from cold symptoms!

This root soup for lymphatic drainage is quite literally the best allergy and cold protocol on my list…and I forgot to mention it in this podcast!! Silly me….

Ingredients:

  • 10 organic red skin potatoes, sliced
  • 6 organic peeled carrots, sliced
  • 2 organic white or yellow onions, chopped
  • 3-4 organic garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 cups of organic chicken stock or chicken bone broth
  • 4 cups of beef stock or beef bone broth
  • Extra virgin olive oil ghee, or butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (or 1/2 tsp processed)
  • Himalayan salt or himalayan salt sole to taste
  • As much organic cayenne pepper as you can stand (medicinal grade is best and ADD IT AFTER YOU COOK YOUR SOUP! NOT DURING OR BEFORE. IT WILL DEPLETE THE AFFECTIVENESS OF THIS AMAZING HERB IF YOU COOK IT)
  • Optional (amazing flavor!!) add 1/2 container of Salce Pinapple Jalepeno Sauce

Instructions:

  1. sauté red skin potatoes, onions, carrots, and garlic in a large pan with olive oil, butter, or ghee.
  2. Add chicken and beef broth (or stock) to pot.
  3. Add himalayan salt or sole and cayenne pepper to taste.
  4. Add thyme seasoning
  5. Add sautéed vegetables to broth/stock and cook on medium head until potatoes are done.
  6. Turn off heat and add Salce Pinapple Sauce.

Do this Daily Protocol for relief from Seasonal Allergies

When you feel allergies or a cold starting…here’s what to do!

  • Echinacea tincture: take 3-4 dropper fulls/day. I usually start with three full droppers, and then just do one dropper 3-4x per day after that until symptoms subside. Echinacea won’t help unless you start using it before a cold takes over!
  • Take 3-4 cups of Breathe Easy tea/day. Add raw honey and raw apple cider vinegar (cleansing).
  • Use a neti pot 2 times per day (instructional video below)
  • Boil some water and add 2-3 drops of eucalyptus essential oil. Put your face as close to the steam as you can without burning your face. Put a towel over your head and create a “steam room” with your head inside. Inhale the vapors for ten minutes. Be sure to have Kleenex handy!
  • Take 1500 mg of vitamin C 3-4 times per day.
  • Detox using hot baths, infrared saunas, broths, soups, fresh juices, and herbal teas.
  • Sick time is a good time to fast. The less you eat, the better. Focus on liquids!

Best Affirmations for seasonal allergies

This is the best affirmation for seasonal allergies! I adapted it from an affirmation that Raymon Grace (one of my favorite mentors) suggested. When allergies are taking over, say this phrase 30x + per day: “In the name of [Jesus Christ], I ask [my Heavenly Father] to desensitize the mucous membranes of my body to all allergens and irritants.”

Ginger Bath Solution for Seasonal Allergies

running bath water in a white bathtub. Image originally from http://www.freeimageslive.co.uk/free_stock_image/running-bath-jpg-0

Add 4 T fresh ginger powder + 4 T of AIM Mag-nificence CWR to a bath of hot water (as hot as you can stand; add hot water as you soak to keep it hot!) and soak for twenty minutes.  After twenty minutes, exit the tub, dry off, and cover your body with camphor essential oil and eucalyptus essential oil. Vicks Vapor Rub will work too, but is a “lesser” option.  Don’t apply the oil or rub near your eyes; it will REALLY hurt!

Onions on your feet is another natural Remedy for seasonal allergies

Believe it or not, putting cooked unions on your feet overnight works wonders for colds and seasonal allergies! It’s definitely smelly…but works like a charm! Wear thick socks over plastic baggies if you don’t want the smell of the onions to get on your sheets.

Jennifer Stirling-Campbell (00:00)
be honest, I have to thank my first husband for encouraging me to try this allergy protocol he wanted to try when we were married.

At the time, I remember rolling my eyes and telling him that if he really wanted to invest in all of these herbs and different rather expensive products to tackle his allergies that he’d, “Better go through with it!” And I actually decided to do it alongside him. And it worked.

I spent years basically creating the allergies that I suffered from and getting over those allergies was a process for sure. I want to tell you a few stories that relate to allergies and how and why they actually occur. When we live in any given environment, for example, I live in Arizona. and Each year about Springtime, usually in the fall, people struggle here a lot with allergies. And it usually doesn’t happen for at least a few years until after they’ve lived here for a while.

What happens is that The non-indigenous plants that people bring here and plant because they think they’re pretty, and we live in a desert, but they think they’re pretty, so they plant these non-indigenous plants. And what happens in the spring in particular is we have such a dry climate, so that when these plants start to flower, there’s pollen everywhere because there’s no moisture to hold it down like it would be in a place where it’s supposed to reside. So this can create a very real problem. I also know a handful of people who are terribly allergic to mesquite trees which actually are indigenous to this area. I believe they’ve handle the heat and quite well and so it’s made me wonder… why that one?

Some people suffer from Bermuda grass. Some people struggle with certain foods, of course. But here we’re talking about the seasonal allergies, mostly the pollen in the air.

I want to propose an idea to you that perhaps it’s possible this isn’t your problem at all. Perhaps this was something an ancestor dealt with and you got passed down their DNA. However, sometimes allergic reactions can be a result of being exposed to a certain smell, a certain pollen, a certain season at a time when trauma was occurring. And I’m going to tell you a story that a friend told to me and it’s actually relating to food, but it can totally and completely relate to plants as well. So this, I was talking to my friend about the idea that trauma and allergies could be related. And my story went that Theoretically, there could be a young girl eating an ice cream cone, really enjoying her ice cream cone walking down the street. And a car loses control and comes up onto the curb and almost hits her in this moment. And it’s shocking and scary.

And years down the road, she starts to develop a lactose intolerance. where she can’t really drink milk or use milk products anymore. And this is, could possibly be attributed to this incident that convinced her body that milk is not safe. That when I have milk, bad things happen. And so over time, you can actually develop an allergy to something related to an event that happened to you. The this friend of mine, he when I told him that story, his ears perked up and he goes, ‘Wow, I’m allergic to beef.’

And he told me a story of when he was a young kid, and his uncle took him to a baseball game and he got a beef hot dog. And he during the course of this game before he was able to eat the hot dog, it spilled out of his bun somehow and ended up on the floor. And his uncle didn’t handle this very well. Hot dogs at Dodger games tend to be quite pricey and so he he yelled at his nephew. He got very angry and made him cry and it was just turned into kind of a rotten experience for him. And he and he wondered to himself, ‘I wonder if that’s why my body rejects beef now.’ And I I would tend to agree that that’s probably part of the issue.

There are definitely things we can do herbally. And let me mention to herbs, it’s extremely important to get high quality herbs. Do your research, buy herbs that are potent, that are fresh. Call the company and ask them about their product if you want. I’m sure there’s good products out there. I personally have tended to get Frontier Herbs.

I don’t buy herbs at the store, the grocery store, and expect them to be good enough for medicinal use. Typically, they’re older. you have any herbal shops in your local area, that might be a good place to shop. Dr. Christopher’s herbs are always really good, at least from my experience. If you get herbs from sprouts, for example, and you don’t do research and you buy the cheapest one, the problem with that is that

Sometimes, herbs, I mean, not sometimes, Most herbs are not regulated. And so What some companies do is they will take that herb, they will extract it into tincture form, which takes all the medicinal components of that plant and puts it into the tincture, either the glycerin or the alcohol.

And then they’ll sell that tincture as a supplement. But then they’ll take that totally worthless herb now because all of the medicinal properties have been taken out, It could be composted, so I shouldn’t say it’s completely worthless, but it’s not going to have healing benefits for you anymore in that state. And they’ll put it into a capsule and sell it, as echinacea or whatever the herb is, which isn’t a lie, but it’s not going to help heal you. So I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to buy fresh, good herbs grown in the right season from companies who know what they’re doing. Some people on Etsy are really good at selling herbs. I’m sure some of them know what they’re doing. Again, use your intuition to buy your herbs.

You buy essential oils, doTERRA is an okay place to buy oils. I feel like they’re pretty good. Young Living, I’ve heard decent things about them. I’ve liked their oils. My favorite place to buy oils though is Indigo Mountain Health and Wellness. They have a website. I will link that in the description.

So without further ado, I will go through the allergy protocol that works very, well if you’re willing to do it. It takes a little bit of time and work, but it works.

When your allergies flare up, right away, start taking Echinacea Tincture. Do it at least three to four times a day, a whole dropper full. You’re also going to want to start drinking a sinus allergy tea blend three to four times a day.

You can add some raw honey for taste and a little bit of apple cider vinegar. That helps with absorption as well and with gut health.

And with the apple cider vinegar you want to make sure it is the raw kind with the mother. That actually matters.

You’re going to want to get yourself a neti pot and follow the instructions so that the salt is the right amount. If you use too much or too little, it will really burn your sinuses. If you use the right amount, can’t even, it doesn’t hurt at all. It’s perfect. You do have to get used to using it, but it’s fantastic. If you’re so stuffed up that the neti pot doesn’t work, like you can’t get the water to go through, there are some little syringe-kind of things that they make for kids that I’ve used for myself when it’s just too stuffy. Just be sure to use them very slowly because they can push water up into your ear canal and you don’t want to do that. So be very gentle with yourself when you’re using the syringe version.

I also to want to eucalyptus steam. So get some eucalyptus essential oil at Indigo Mountain Health and Wellness would be my personal choice. And you’re going to want to bring a small pot of water to a boil, have a towel or blanket handy. And then once it’s steaming, you can put a few drops of eucalyptus in that steaming pot of water. You don’t want it to be a rolling boil.

But you want it to just be kind of steaming. And then put the blanket or the towel over your head and breathe in that eucalyptus steam for a good 10 minutes. And you want to do that at least twice a day.

You will probably want to keep Kleenex handy, just saying.

And you’re going to want to also keep your face about a foot away so you don’t burn your face.

Get some vitamin C. High quality vitamin C.

I like Super Acerola Plus. It’s easier to digest and you’re going to want to about 1500 milligrams three to four times a day. And you might need to wean yourself into this because if you take too much too fast, it could create some bowel issues that maybe you don’t want. So

This is the one I have for my kids, the chewables. They do have some, I think, sucrose and fructose and natural flavors that I don’t necessarily love, but they are effective for getting vitamin C into a kid when they don’t want to swallow a pill.

If the sinuses are swollen, you can put hot compresses on them, you can massage them. I really like putting my fingers above my eyebrows like this, holding them for good 30 seconds. If you can see the video, if not, you’ll just have to watch it later. And then putting pressure on below my, kind of below my nose area like this for a little while, 30 seconds or so, using my fingers to rub below my eyes like this for a good 30 seconds or so.

And then pinching my nose like so. I can feel the pressure now. There’s some soreness in there. So those are things you can do to kind of and do that throughout the day, not just once, but repeatedly. Really, really, really does help. Lastly, get rest. Let your body detox. Take hot baths is always good.

There’s some detox foot pads that I like to use that I can link in the description. Sauna is always great as well, as hot as you can stand.

And I will be including an itemized list of these protocols in the workbook. So if you haven’t already, go ahead and download that.

According to an AIM email that I received, which sells natural products for health supplements and so forth, have AIM fiber blend was what kind of got me hooked. I really liked that product.

This particular email said to Fix a tub of hot water with ginger. So again, get a high quality powdered ginger, least at least four tablespoons fresh.

And then they suggested Aims Cell Wellness Restorer, probably a few tablespoons of that as well, and soak in it, soak in the tub for 20 minutes. And they suggested getting into the tub when it’s as hot as you can stand and then continuing to add hot water to as hot as you can stand. You really want to sweat this out.

It will also raise your body temperature and help fight whatever virus or allergies you might be dealing with.

After spending 20 minutes in the tub, you’re going to want to get out, rub your whole body with camphor and eucalyptus essential oil. You can buy Vicks Vapor Rub, but they use the synthetic version of camphor, which to me is inferior than the natural product. The natural product will cost more, but to me it’s worth it.

After you’ve completely covered your body, probably not your face because you don’t want to get it in your eyes, but everything else with the essential oil or the Vicks Vapor Rub, if you choose, wrap yourself in a towel and go to sleep. And I have tried this when I felt like the first inklings of allergies or cold or flu and it kicked it. It completely kicked

It does seem to work pretty effectively.

If you want to slowly and steadily tackle your seasonal allergies, there’s also things you can do throughout the year that will help. One of which is to eat raw honey that was harvested in your area. You don’t want to be eating raw honey Idaho if you live in Arizona, for example, and not even something from another city if you can help it. You want something that is…bees that are collecting pollen from your immediate area, and eating it regularly throughout the summer months. For some reason, eating it in the winter months doesn’t seem to be as effective. You want to actually stay away from raw honey in the winter months.

But during the summer, the spring, when it’s warm outside, that’s when you want to be doing this. The little pollen balls are good to get as well if you have access to those. However, I gave some of my little pollen balls to a friend of mine one time thinking it would help with the allergies he had to mesquite trees. It was a pretty bad allergy and I gave him some of these pollen balls and said, ‘Yeah like put a half a quarter teaspoon and drink in the morning and… yeah have at it.’

And he had such an intense reaction to those pollen balls he was that allergic that it he went to the hospital. I don’t think he was in imminent danger but he it really scared him. So keep that in mind that if you’re highly allergic to something you might want to try like one itty bitty pollen ball and have your EpiPen close just in case.

Do with the supervision of a medical professional. I felt really bad.

Honestly, years ago, I used to take, I believe it was Flonase and what was it? Allegra? I think those are the two that I took for allergies when I really struggled and they helped a lot with seasonal allergies. However, suggested to my husband, to go get some Allegra because he was struggling with allergies.

He went to his doctor and the doctor actually told him that taking Allegra and Flonase long-term could result in a tolerance to some extent where you’d need more and more for it to be effective and that it would eventually stop working. And that’s when he actually wanted to try the natural protocols, which I’m glad he did. That really did jumpstart my entrance into the natural world where I realized, Hey, if I can do this with

colds and allergies, what else can I figure out?’

Other things that people tend to use that tend to be addicting, Afrin

yes it’s very effective.

I used it I think once before when I was so stuffed up I couldn’t play for a trumpet concert. I couldn’t breathe and so for that emergency case I did use Afrin, but in all other cases I would avoid it like the plague.

I’m going to suggest two more allergy protocols that may help you. Raymond Grace gave this suggestion. He’s one of my favorite energy healers. When asked what his religious preference was, he said it’s most closely aligned with Shamanism, and he is just amazing. I absolutely love his videos, can buy tutorials on his website

He gives workshops, I believe in Virginia, and one of my goals is to make it to Virginia and go to one of his workshops. But he suggested saying every hour that you’re struggling with cold or allergies, “I desensitize the mucous membranes of my body to all allergens and irritants.” did this for three days this year. And it did seem to help. It did seem to get pretty much rid of the suffering I was engaging this year.

If you’re a Christian and you would like to add your faith into that statement you can say, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask my Heavenly Father to please desensitize the mucous membranes of my body to all allergens and irritants.”

The last suggestion I have is based on something I learned from one of my dear mentors, Cheryl Stock, and I’m using this picture of hers with permission. She gave it to me years ago when she worked with me on some allergy struggles I was having. Basically, you rub different points of your body that are connected to meridians and acupressure points that are connected to these meridians. So you’re basically following a flow throughout your body to try to desensitize your body to allergens that are causing it to react. And the way that, and I, I’m so sorry if I’m saying this wrong, Cheryl, I’m doing my best.

It’s been a few, but from what I remember, you think of, you try to identify, like I suggested earlier, what is the emotion or the event or the story that could have led to me overreacting and my body rejecting these pollens and causing my body to be inflamed and causing these allergies. And once you feel like you have at least somewhere to start in that way, even if it’s just irritation, like I am irritated that I have these allergies, that would be a good place to start.

And then you say these words and you can substitute God or Heavenly Father for light, love and energy, the loving universe, whatever you feel like works for you. I used Heavenly Father, so

I would say Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ…. Then say I and then your name. Ask to start my 24 body circuit for and then you state the allergy you’re suffering from whether it’s Bermudagrass. You could say “seasonal allergies” if you don’t know but if you know try to identify it and then you’re going to use your intuition which we talked about in video the #introduction Video 8 of possibly questions to decide how many times a day do you need to do this? Now rule of thumb would be generally at least three or four times a day, but you’ll then run each of these clockwise. You can see in the picture if you’re watching the video, it starts with number one between the thumb and forefinger on the right side, and then it ends on the right side a little bit above the knee. And you’re going to rub each of these points seven times in clockwise motion.

After you’re done with that circuit, then you say, circuit begin now. Now this might sound a little out there for some of you who aren’t really accustomed to energy healing or…. but I think we can all agree that Meridians, energy systems…. They are legitimately a thing. I Try to be open to the idea, maybe you could try it.

If not, there’s plenty of other ideas that I left in this podcast for you to try.

Lastly, I will say that I struggled with allergies from the time I was in elementary school up until I was in my later 20’s. I would get so sick every year that as soon as I

As soon as I would feel mucus generating in my glands and building up in my system, I knew I was going to be sick for at least three months and it was brutally miserable. I was constantly inflamed. I was constantly stuffed up. It was just awful. And so for years I did resort to the synthetic medications, the prescriptions, and they did help but again over time we know why maybe that’s not the best long-term solution so even after doing some of the natural protocols, I was still struggling with allergy season every year until I felt inclined due to a struggle with my health to do a cleanse and this cleanse was called The Body Ecology Diet. It was so hard for me.

I don’t know how I could honestly recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who’s eating the standard American diet because it was so difficult. But I will say that after a year and I did it hardcore for three months and then I started introducing things back into my diet like green apples and fruit that was very low in sugar. I didn’t have a smidget of sugar for a entire year and that included honey.

So after that year, of depriving myself of processed foods, sugar, all of that. All of my allergies were gone. Like, completely gone. And they’ve, over the past few years, started making a small comeback. I might have to do some cleansing again. And I try to do cleansing regularly. But it is possible to completely clear out your body emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually, so that you can

stop suffering from allergies anymore. If I could, you can do it too.
