Malachi 4
Why should you listen to Ezekiel?

Honestly, Ezekiel was a pretty cool dude! And very wise. These verses might sound a bit “doom and gloom” to someone not well-versed in the scriptures. What do I see? I see fantastic power–and through that power I see hope. Malachi 4 reminds us that we’ve inherited a lot of &^$^**@ from our ancestors. However, there’s a purpose and a reason for that (i.e., we get to learn stuff!!). Malachi 4 stresses that, as we “turn our hearts” to those who came before us, we can forgive them! THEN we can heal ourselves of the things they could not. We can be the catalyst that heals not only ourselves, but our children, grandchildren, and ancestors before us. That’s pretty powerful!
